Entity a bytosti v léčebném psychedelickém procesu
Psychedelická subkultura se dělí na ty, kteří věří v existenci entit (nebo také bytostí či spiritů) a ty, kteří je považují za konstrukty mysli a hovoří o nich jako o eidetických halucinacích.
Proč se pohledy uživatelů psychedelik tolik různí ? Co způsobuje, že někdo tento koncept považuje za reálný a jiný jej vnímá jen jako metaforu? Problém je složitější, než se zdá, a nejde zdaleka jen o sémantický rozpor.
Dle informací dostupných na internetových fórech se zdá, že mnoho lidí užívá psychedelika proto, aby se setkali s jinými bytostmi nebo cestovali do jiných dimenzí. Někteří lidé potom nejsou schopni rozlišit, co je reálné, a viní za své životní události entity, místo toho, aby převzali odpovědnost a vypořádali se s naprogramováním své mysli.
V přednášce se budeme zabývat možnými vysvětleními konceptu entit ve změněných stavech vědomí z pohledu kognitivní vědy a psychologie.
Marta Kaczmarczyk
Marta Kaczmarczyk získala titul MSc v oboru Kognitivní věda a vědy o rozhodování na University College London a titul PDEng v oboru Interakce s uživatelskými systémy na Eindhoven University of Technology. Marta je odbornice na vědu a technologii související s přesvědčováním. Téma této přednášky bylo předmětem jejího výzkumu během doktorského studia, kdy zároveň pracovala jako výzkumnice na Eindhoven University. Marta se zabývá demystifikací psychedelické zkušenosti a vytvářením vědeckého rámce, který by byl pro západní mysl přístupnější a relevantnější než šamanský nebo New Age rámec, který je v psychedelické komunitě tolik populární. Marta je spoluzakladatelkou a koordinátorkou Nizozemské psychedelické společnosti, což je nezisková organizace, která se zabývá bezpečným užíváním psychedelických substancí.

Entities and beings in a psychedelic healing process
The psychedelic movement seems to be divided into two groups. People who believe in entities or otherwise called beings or spirits and people who see these forms as constructs of the mind and refer to these as eidetic hallucinations. Why there is such a difference in views between people in using psychedelic substances? What causes one person to see this concept as real and the other as a metaphor? The problem might be less trivial then it seems and is not only a semantic deliberation. What if diving into the topic of entities hinders personal healing process? From information gathered from internet forums, it seems that many people use psychedelics in the context of an exploration of the idea of meeting other beings or travelling into other dimensions. Many people seem to be confused as to what is real and blame their life events on entities instead of taking responsibility for dealing with their conditioned programming. The talk will explore different possible explanations of the concept of entities from the perspective of cognitive science and psychology.
Marta Kaczmarczyk
Marta has graduated from MSc in Cognitive and Decision Sciences at University College London and Post-Msc (PDEng) in User System Interaction at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). Marta is an expert in persuasive science and technology. She had researched this topic in the medical and well-being field for two years during her Post-MSc course and during her work as a UX researcher at the TU/e. She is interested in demystifying the psychedelic experience and creating a scientific framework that would be more accessible to the Western mind and more relevant than the shamanic or new age framework which is popular in the psychedelic community. She is a co-founder and a coordinator of Psychedelic Society of the Netherlands; a non-profit organization focused on advocating a safe use of psychedelic substances.
